Chris has scored 20 ppg twice before. The last being a decade ago at 22 points a game. I would guess he gets around 15 points again this season with more assists.

    yes, very frustrating.

the pick swaps, and traded picks for that matter are mostly within our control. we control their value by putting together a good team during those years. just don't tank and hope for no devastating injuries. at worst its late lotto/mid round picks.

the annoying thing will be if we aren't contending those years, and there is no point in tanking, we will be stuck on the mediocrity treadmill for 4-5 years. it will be the lowry/scola show again. still, we won't bottom out and give the thunder 3 top 5 picks.

Also a dumber, crazier, worse shooter. Just to be balanced.

Also a better, loyal teammate. There’s a reason CP3 isn’t well liked around the league.

Doesn't matter what the Warriors look like, or even Westbrook's stats

Things apparently soured between Harden and Chris Paul. PERIOD. END OF STORY
Saying we should have kept CP is like saying you shouldn't have taken the splinter out of your finger
even thought it was festering and getting infected. The proper remedy is to remove the source of irritation.

Given the circumstances, I believe Morey made out like a bandit.
CP had that horrendous (and greedy) MAX contract which was difficult to move.
If he had not been so greedy, and had more of a friendly contract, he likely would be playing in LA with his buddy LeBron.
But sometimes karma can be a cruel mistress.

Morey did what he had to do.
Do you jettison CP or take a chance on your marquee player being unhappy and
wanting out much like Paul George, Anthony Davis, even Westbrook?

I'm sure with what Morey knew behind the scenes, this thread has no merit

Imagine not believing that a star player being injured could change the way the team plays.

    Lord lmao.

This debate isn’t even about Russ vs Paul.

It’s about Harden. It’s about the fear that’s harden will not change to make this work. He didn’t change with Paul and he might not change with Westbrook.

The problem is if he doesn’t change his game with Westbrook here we will not be as good as we were with Paul.

Let’s see if Beardie changes the Narrative for his friend because if it doesn’t then that makes 3 all-stars that can’t work with Harden.

What’s that joke about if you run into an ******* in the morning then he’s just an ******* but if your running into assholes all day then YOUR the *******?

Cite a quote by someone saying that, not related to the Rondo incident.

Cite a quote by someone saying CP was a disloyal teammate.

Also, cite a quote that Westbrook is well liked, more than Paul.

You're making stuff up just to refuse to acknowledge that Westbrook is a severely flawed player. Watching him implode against Ricky Rubio was tragicomedy. CP ate Rubios soul in back to back years.

Westbrook is also more inefficient, turnover prone, easily goaded, and ball dominant. He has a history of not raising the games of his teammates, notably Durant and Oladipo.

It's weird to say the other all-stars didn't work with Harden. He went to a WCF with each of them.

Couldn't keep it together is more accurate and worth noting that EACH time there was an issue about the other star wanting Harden to change.

Also worth noting that each of the other stars has a reputation of wearing their teammates out.

It's not nothing, but it's not something yet either. Hard to know exactly what to make of it because we aren't on the inside.

Kendrick Perkins and Ryan Hollins have been parading this around lately but they both are involved with the same big 3 team so take it as you will.

Lol. Kendrick is one of the simpletons I was thinking about who first started saying it after the Rondo fight.

CP and Westbrook are both hot heads. There's no way one is super well liked and the other one isn't. That's my point.

Rondo's the worst teammate of the three and he's the one that got the media all over the "is CP the worst teammate?" train. Yes, the players union president is the most disliked player, according to a guy who left the Mavs during a playoff series. Wait, what?

Just to be accurate, OKC has the right to swap their own pick or the Clippers picks that they own with the Rockets pick.

Even if it's a swap of a Rockets pick and Clippers pick, hopefully they are in the same range of the draft.

this is so true, paul could not get by anyone last year, even when he scored on the big men, they were semi contested mid range shots

There's no way coming here is going to turn the worst high volume 3 point shooter in NBA history into something that is above average.
