You gotta the appreciate the humour in this. That Fertitta commented on Westbrook's athleticism and that guy from ESPN saying "Ow look he can dunk, ooohhh" hahaha Fertitta has a brand new toy and loving every minute of it. I agree with the guy's point that it's a bit scary where our franchise is going with the way the organisation and Fertitta in particular has presented itself. He might be a billionaire, but he's not basketball smart and I've always thought he's come across as just a passionate cowboy with lot of talk and little substance, kind of indicative of Texans.
Boy, I just want to hear more about how my man ascertained the level of sophistication of our billionaire owner, based on the Chris Paul for Russell Westbrook trade. I know all my billionaire mates really work hard on that aspect of their character...
You trash our rockets, you talk **** about Texas, you are a fan of some **** team outside of the state.. you don't belong here.
I couldn’t care less if he’s sophisticated or not, as long as he’s willing to spend money. Unfortunately he has seemed cheap so far.
Walk into any restaurant he owns, especially the fancy ones and it’s easy to tell, no sophistication at all. Pappas is a good steakhouse but in an old fashioned conservative sort of way. Edit: He doesn't own Pappas? oops nevermind. Looking at the Landry's restaurant list, I will say I had a very good steak at Vic and Anthony's, but it was overpriced and it came with literally nothing else on the plate. I'm going with that.
Ooh that was nasty. For that guy's sake, I hope the whole "broke billionaire" meme around here is true, and he doesn't have "F. you up" money.
I don’t think you meant to quote me. I assume you’re replying to that Texas hating, Texan hating, Rockets hating turd JW86? I bet he’s a Boston fan.
The Jump - They sure need to talk about the Rockets, and bash them, tarnish, destroy their reputation in their process.
You can tell he is not a real basketball fan. He is just trying to do flip and make some money in 5 years
