The $17m salary and $20m+ in luxury tax is tough to swallow if you want Iggy. I'd be happy to pass on him if I knew he wasn't going to end up on the Clippers which seems very likely.

It's going to be a nightmare to try and score on a defense that has Bev, Kawhi, Iggy, George and J Green.

I want our 2020 and 2022 picks traded. Why? I want Love and Covington and their multi year contracts. Shump, Nene, NGs and 1st for Adams to Cavs for Love. I want Morey and TF locked in. They have to draft a player in 2021, 2023, and 2025. They have to fill out the rest of the roster and cannot throw away our 1st to dump salary. These players combined with Morey’s freedom to raid the bargain bins with vet mins limits the damage both can cause. Morey is good at the back of the draft and the bargain bin. He is good at dumping. I want his other privileges revoked. Likewise, I don’t want to have to trust TF. I would like to put my trust in guaranteed contracts. This is the least worst decision and it can be resolved NOW.

so is covington's. he also forgot how to shoot once he got a contract.

that said, we still need gamble on one of them. its either that or JR smith for the minimum

Do not want Iggy at 17 mil

Will take him if he's bought out

I think he's washed ... at the 37 mil price it's way too big a risk ... I would rather try to grab several other players .

i highly doubt he picks the rockets if he is bought out though.

if trade for him or get nothing (lose out on others too), what would you say we do ?

Well , given that I think he's washed ... I'm not too worried if he goes to another team .

I mean if it's pick up Iggy or literally make 0 roster moves the rest of the way then obviously I'd rather have Iggy lol

Yeah but I wouldn't take Ariza at that price lol

Perkins chattering this much is pretty strange. I wonder If he really does have an in as an assistant coach.

I’m super down to have another Harden pit bull even If he is on the bench or in the media.

The only thing I can hope for is that sauces regarding Iggy going to LA if bought out would be wrong and that he remembers the amazing presentation Rockets gave him and how he almost signed with us. Otherwise, I do not want to trade for Iggy and give away an FRP.

I wouldn't want him going to either LA team, but he's not worth a FRP for a 1 year rental.
