    he is a much better 3 point shooter than Shumpert. He can also be easily put on the likes of rondo, bev and we would be ok. Gotta get out of beating the warriors mentality

    If I was him I'd sign for min @ Sixers. They are willing to pay atm and need shooters.

    The question is can he still shoot.

    between rus (36), harden (36), and rivers (24) i don't think there are any guard minutes left. ego (30) and house (18) probably take all the SF minutes. accepting a role outside of the rotation is unlikely if he'd like to earn another contract after this year. and replacing house in the rotation is unlikely since he was our MLE signing.

    i think our remaining minutes are all in the frontcourt:

    C = capela (30), chandler (12), tucker (6)
    PF = tucker (26), ??? (22)

    i see 22 minutes at the 4 available. but also, keep in mind chandler only plays about half the games. this creates a total of 34 minutes at the 4/5 every other game.

    i would be looking at stretch 4's via trade or FA, and a 3rd string center for added depth. no need for perimeter players unless they are bench depth.

    You could tell me he gets 2yrs /$13 with the Lakers (assuming they had it available)

    You're really underrating JR's knucklehead skills.

    I’d rather the Rockets go after Korver for the vet minimum than Smith if they’re looking to sign another backup shooter. He can still shoot and with the spacing from Harden and Westbrook I think he could work well in MDA’s system.

    I don't know how lebron would even want him. People always point to a last minute play/call for a reason a game was lost. On this play it was actually the truth. Smith clearly forgot this was the finals and/or the tied score... Like literally forgot everything bball related.

    Does this even happen at the little league games level?

    I love Korver. He's been one of my favorite NBA players. I would absolutely 100% sign him even if he never plays just so I can finally get that itch scratched.

    He's apparently interested in the Sixers or the Lakers.

    JR Smith for the minimum is a good signing. He has shot well on VOLUME in 7 of the last 10 years including 4 out of the last 5. He also gives good effort on defense.

    I mean he's not my preferred guy at all but I'll set that aside.

    I'd have Lance Stephenson, he's marginally more stable than JR Smith. Where's YOLO?

    Lakers don't want him from reports. I could see him fitting here, I think GS will probably put an offer out there. I could see him fitting with them

    I agree minutes are an issue. Think Austin Rivers May end up getting squeezed actually if they end up expanding Westbrook deal to bring in a wing

    His streaky shooting is too much of a liability in the playoffs.
