D scheme also factors heavily in defensive rebounding.

Faried managed 25 games played for the Rockets in the regular season. A whole season more with the Rockets ought to improve the team chemistry even more. He already has played with James Harden with team USA in 2014.

If Manimal was used in the playoffs, I really think we would have beaten Golden shower State.

Time to push all the damn chips to middle of the table.

If Rockets were willing to give up 4 picks and 2 starters for Jimmy Butler, then how many picks and players will it take to get RoCo and AG?

SnT Shump & 1st for Covington. Aquire Aaron Gordon, even if it costs EGo, Capela & 2 1st rounders.

    CP3/Rivers
    Beard/House
    RoCo/Tuck
    AG/Clark
    Javale/Hartenstein

Rockets will need more than thiccness to compete with Clippers, Lakers, Jazz. Need more length, athleticism and grit.

Sign RHJ, SJohnson and/or Blossomgame too.

Clutch himself said so that Faried would be a boost for the Rockets last February. I believed him then and still do so today.

I'll say it again, sign the Manimal while he's still available.

Because Chandler is already 37, am not sure how much mileage the Rockets can get from him. Faried meanwhile is younger and does well running the pick and roll.

The Westbrook -Adams alley-hoop connection in Oklahoma will be now up graded to the Westbrook to Manimal connection. I expect many highlights from this potential pairing.

Yea, I hope we bring him back.

Very useful in certain situations, even if it is just to steal a few regular season games.

Especially Chandler being such an unknown because of his age. Does he have anything left in the tank?

He didn’t shoot bad from 3 last year in the limited shots he took. If he could somehow expand that then he would be a really nice situational player to have. He excels against the right lineups.

Faried can’t play defense, so no thanks. Plus he was apparently a distraction last year IIRC, once playoffs started and he was out of the rotation.

Faried gave both Kawhi and Boogie fits in those games.

He was just too active, strong and fast.

His D can only improve with preseason on team. Bzdelik switch D was a complicated system.

    Need him back.

This is a no-brainer for the veterans minimum, but maybe he's holding out for more. Not many options left.

Funny how we actually need a new coach to get the best out of Westbrook, Faried, Chandler and arguably House and Harden if you want him to change his game. No new coach is no Faried.

I like Faried too but come on, no way y’all really think he was THE difference in winning and losing that series.

Damn shame him and House were underplayed in the playoffs. They had Shump can't shoot and Green can't play a lick of defense on crucial moments.

    All defensive coaches already gone.

Only MDA remains and his system is tailor made for Faried on offense.

Faried isn’t good enough for playoff basketball.

House wasn’t ready for playoff basketball.

I bet you under Dantoni Pascal Siakam and Fred Vanvleet wouldn't have been ready for playoff basketball either.

I’d like to see him come back. There doesn’t appear to be much of a market for him so we have a chance.
