Well no one has post game anymore so teams don't look for the mismatch and exploit it like they did in the past. You still have to wonder if he can defend the bigger guards, but he does have hops so he can at least get his hand in the face of some of them.
Lol when I watch this he looks like a mixed bag of spud webb nate robinson and that dunk was impressive. These highlights make the dude look like basketball jesus. So dont tell anyone its summer league and package this guy hartenstein clark and some shake from a bag in my corolla for iggy
Unbelievable. He's gonna be our next Sam Cassell. I think they both led NCAA in scoring. Our backcourt is stacked.
Normally yes, but with Harden and WB on the court getting all the minutes and Austin Rivers getting minutes at the 1 too...... Probably not.
Okay, but I was referring to Playing Time, being the 14th or 15th guy on the roster does not get you minutes. Free spots for people to send down to the Vipers, back and forth.
He’ll get minutes, we already know what Rivers can do. Obviously summer leagues a far cry from the pros but Clemons has that takeover DNA. Whether that carries over remains to be seen. Rivers is steady and that’s valuable in its own right mind you, but it you have a bench guy that has the potential to get 12 points in limited minutes you have to give him a look. Especially since we know Russ and Harden will be getting the bulk of it.
I know it is Summer League but Shamorie Ponds is a similar dude, close to 6'1. So I take the similar player who is taller. I am not sure why Ponds did not get the minutes in Summer league but he has proven himself in College that he can score and shoot as well. I just cannot imagining them keeping 2 of those Scoring PGs that are still unproven. You need those slots for forwards/bigs and bigger guards. Chris Chiozza, another PG, also netted an underrated 6.4 assists per game, second best in the tourney.
