    Yes. We can't find another way to trade Paul with less than 3 or 4 picks, when we also need to get 1 or 2 trash contract.
    As for Russ, that's way too easy to trade for now.

    I could see Harden taking WBs side rather than pushing to trade him. Or wanting to leave with him. This isn't CP again, these guys are much closer.

    I hope he can be. But he was really bad last year. If he comes in and plays poorly and is a poor fit or causes chemistry issues his value will take a hit. With his monster contract that'll be tough. But hopefully Miami remains interested.

    Is he really in the middle of his prime? He's a 30 year old with a terrible jumper who relies on effort and athleticism, and most of his numbers are now in a clear three-season decline. If he loses more of his explosiveness as he gets into his 30s, it could get ugly fast.

    No doubt he's more valuable than Paul. But "prime" is very questionable.

    I think this going to turn out like cp3 contract. I hope it works out in year one. I remember how people were saying cp3 contract would work out because he doesn't rely on athleticism. The big benefit is RW doesn't get hurt as much as cp3.

    Emotionally, I believe Harden will be more committed to making this work. I think Brodie and Beard being besties is an underplayed aspect to this whole story. It honestly has a chance of being a pretty nice feel-good angle to this season.

    Great post Mike.....amazing that people aren’t excited about a guy who has averaged a triple double three straight years. Has CP3 even had one in the last three years???
