Forgot about Martin not being on the 60-day yet, not sure they want to do that though.

They don’t in my opinion. He’s good enough potentially that you’d want his extra year of service time protected more than the right to have Brady Rodgers or Gudaun in the organization, imo.

They can decide to hold Correa out until 07/30 and put him on the 60 day

Stitches for Bregman, he's day to day, could play Friday.

Indeed. Four stitches. Astros officially calling it a chin laceration.

I enjoy this paragraph in the article clearly written by someone who knows nothing about the Astros:

Myles Straw replaced Bregman in the field Thursday and he is the only player on the Astros who is a regular shortstop. Tony Kemp plays second base and Yuli Gurriel could probably play some short, but it's not his natural position. Tyler White could play the position some, as well, in an emergency.

    Straw...a regular shortstop...lol.
Yuli...a natural infielder being more problematic than Straw at SS...lol

And the pièce de résistance: Tyler White as emergency SS.

Yeah, I’m not really sure what to make of that, but it would’ve been much more reassuring if they had been able to say that it was just a chin laceration and he’d be back in a couple days. I have a bad feeling about this one.

So if Correa does come on the 26th, he would have missed almost 9 weeks due to this injury.

Continues to be the most frustrating Astros injury this season. If Correa was healthy right now I think we’d all be feeling a little different about Bregman’s potential injury.

This is fantastic news. Should mean that he avoided anything more serious than a chin laceration.

Yeah. That grounder to the chin probly gave him AIDS and cancer.

    Thoughts and prayers.

Yet he was telling his followers on social media he would be ready to play in the ASG. Am I the only one tired of Correa antics ?
