The players have very little control on the court over winning in the playoffs- that's the NBA and the Refs. So I'm in it for love of the game, my team and my city.
This IMHO, is what is lacking with Harden, at least the perception of him is that he cares more about having fun than dying to win. At least Westbrook is all about winning - which should help......never a fan but I respect his competitive nature. DD
you’re embarrassing yourself with this thread Harden and CP0 wasn’t gonna win anything, so what are u talking about? CP0 wasn’t even an All-Star caliber player anymore. Maybe Harden is tired of carrying his ass all year while he’s out injured.
Probably winning. No way Harden had “fun” doing what he had to do last year with CP3, Gordon, and Capela all missing significant time (even at the same time). I’m sure he would have more fun averaging a pedestrian 25 ppg on a team that doesn’t make the playoffs, and have more time to pour champagne on big booty strippers.
Wanting to win badly isn't enough. You have to do things in a way that make winning more likely. Some (though not all) of the things Paul did could actually be detrimental. Same goes for Harden. Plus, wanting to win and wanting to have fun aren't mutually exclusive. You can do both.
you mad about perceptions . .. . you NEED Demonstrative sceaming shouting people before you believe them how . .. . . .. uhm . . . .. vacant Rocket River
Victor Frankl would say that fun can’t be obtained by seeking it but only indirectly through winning.
Honestly with this year being a blood bath in the West, I'm all about fun this year. I'm not sure if Harden and Westbrook are going to work well together, but I don't really care. I'm already fully invested in this sh!tshow!
