    Not trying to be combative, but isn't cyberx a Lakers fan? I don't get why he/she would be an insider when we heard nothing from him/her all the way through free agency and then leaks something immediately after the big trade. The leak is also something that many of us suspected. Just seems strange to me. Maybe I am alone on this. :confused:

    I’ve been getting attacked for this exact point. Tilman sucks but that doesn’t mean Les didn’t suck too. Les got us Tilman after all.

    Eh good, I'm sure Morey and his Melo stats from 538 said the team was going to be fine, but there is a human element here to be considered and the Harden-CP3 Rockets weren't going to get over the hump. It had to be broken up.

    I’m a Morey supporter, but if he was against this trade then he may not be the GM who can build a roster to put this team over the top. This was literally a no-brainer.

    You are not alone. Cyberex is a partial insider, he /she hears stuff here and there, mostly wrong
    One thing for sure, he/she loves the attention and is gospel here so since he/she has been missing for a while, the person decides to put out something that is fairly easy to suspect and can't be proven one way or the other. it's similar to how basketaballoholic and @Rasheed operate

    So you're not alone

    The advanced metrics available to you and I are rather ordinary metrics compared to what Daryl actually looks at, and TS% means squat compared to how your team performs when you are on the floor. Every team Westbrook has ever played on is significantly better when he is on the floor.

    His Defensive Box+- is mind boggling for a guard.

    Doesn't surprise me.

    I just can't see how our on court product can be better because of this trade, so the only justification I can fathom for this trade is from a business perspective. We got out of the CP3 albatross and now have a contract that might be a bit easier to trade, if it comes to that.

    FYI - Every owner in the NBA manages the massive investment that is an NBA team. Every owner and GM don't see eye-to-eye on things.

    We know that Morey didn't want D'Antoni and Les forced the hire... we almost won the championship after that and Morey didn't leave.

    Everyone in the world has clients, bosses, constraints. Tillman has us.
