"Couldn't accommodate" lol I too was one for Westbrook slander, but let's be realistic now. Durant wants to be THE guy. He left a perfect scenario that brought him 2 championships because of that mentality. Nothing wrong with that, but playing with a guy like Westbrook definitely gets in the way. PG literally returned on a 5 year max deal with little intention to leave because of his relationship with Russ, and Russ was willing to take a step back and suddenly PG became a MVP caliber player. He left due to having the opportunity to play with one of his good friends in Kawhi, and even afterwards said he would not be accepting any form of slander towards Russ. It's clear they had a good relationship on and off the court. Russ is not Ty Lawson, nor is he CP3. His relationship with Harden is a major factor in how well this works out. They definitely sat down and talked about this before hand and know where the other person's mind is at. Now it's our job as fans to support them. If you don't want to, then I and many others will GLADLY escort you out.

I’m going to support him, but that’s not good enough for me, sorry. Russell Westbrook needs to listen to Morey and company to improve his shot selection and grow as a player. He also needs to realize that he doesn’t need to play hero ball when the going gets tough. Bottom line: Westbrook needs to be a smarter player as a Rocket and figure out how to maximize his insane physical tools.
I love this trade. Put Westbrook on the ball and let Harden do more offball stuff with his buddy. Didn’t get much from Paul in the playoffs, so just try to look at it as having Westbrook’s contributions this time. Maybe people are also right when they say he grew up a little alongside George. We can’t avoid taking on salaries this time, though. We still lack solidity at the forward spots. All in all, it’s great.
No. I want to buy season tickets to boo him and heckle him. I didn't feel that way when we got Barkley. I didn't feel that way when we got Pippen. I kind of felt that way when we got Jason Terry. I didn't feel that way when we got Dwight. I didn't feel that way when we got CP3. But omg not only do I hate Westbrook, I genuinely believe he's a loser that makes your team worse. To me this is like adding Karl Malone to the Rockets. Only it's Karl Malone with a terrible true shooting percentage.
