    This is very much in keeping with my sources and what I've been hearing. that there is a statistically insignificant-to-greater chance that Westbrook ends up as a Rocket, or that the Rockets help facilitate at somr point...if the price is right and Daryl/Pat/Till feels it gets them closer to the goal, and the other things line up.

    ....Developing, when i hear more i will post more.

    I sincerely doubt we are trading CP3 as part of this discussion.

    Let me break this down for you:
    1. Miami is hard-capped, they cannot take any money. They must send out equal salary to to get Westbrook. Therefore, any trade will not save the Thunder any money or get them out of the luxury tax.
    2. The Rockets need to get to about 33M in salary to take Westbrook. Capela, Shumpert S&T at 13M, minimums + a re-signed Nene S&T plus buyout basically gets you there. OKC gets salary relief, a pick or 2 coming from us, and ducks under the tax (which again, they cannot do with Miami)

    But I guess I don't know basketball :)

    Possibly money remaining for another free agent (re-sign Shumpert or use in SnT)

    Au contraire, from my low-heighted perch, IMO SP will have to do RW a large and will while extracting the best he can. What, he would enisle his icon to Minnie-sota? He can't get him to NYK before mid-Dec and waiting is not (likely) on offer. Where else, here*? Shirley you geste (those anywhere who 'spect that to occur/and I do NOT want it to occur!).

    *just what I'd need - - mine bride's least fav NBAer comin' thru to TheToyShop. Noooooooo...
