Bc he would be bought out by CLE and get a nice payday right before he retires.

Ok. Was a genuine question as I couldn't think of a reason for him doing it.

    Seems kind of obvious now

Yep, he would end up with more money than if he opt’d into the final year of his contract. Pretty sure this is why he opt’d out.

Sure defensive rebounding isn’t our problem lol

We were only the 2nd worst team in the league at it.

    Did u watch the playoffs?

The one we’re we gave up 2nd Chance after 2nd Chance opportunity because we couldn’t get a defensive rebound?

Switching D is always going to provide some problems when I comes to rebounding but having 6’10 PF instead of a 6’5 Pj tucker will do wonders on the boards.

Plus it pushes PJ back to SF we’re hes actually a good rebounder for that position.

    PJ
    James
    House

4 power forwards: AG, Aminu, Isaac, Okeke

Just signed Aminu, Isaac and Okeke are recent 1st rounders, AG no longer franchise player with rise of Vuc.

Something has to give, cannot play all out of position.

Magic haventoo many bigs, need starting PG and shooters.

I like your thinking, although I wouldn’t give up a 1st for Iggy. That’s just me.

I’d add Oubre to the list of players I would consider this type of move for in lieu of an expensive Love trade.

I'd rather take that risk on a 30 year PF than on a 35 year old point guard.

She is definitely stunning. Meaning KLove ain't signing for no low ball offer. :)

    Then let's get one.

Although it is interesting with needs at other positions, Magic keep drafting 4s.

And their biggest FA signing was also a 4.

If the Rockets could get him AND keep Gordon and Capella, absolutely. Gordon ability to create and defend is so valuable in the playoffs, if we flip him, it has to be for someone that can bring the same skillset. Even though Love would bring us rebounding we need and shooting that we need, he is a sieve on defense. We would need Capella's defense with him on the court to defend at the rim after Love's man blows by him. Maybe it could get done with picks and Shump and a bunch of our minimum guys?

Do the Cavs have interest in OKC Adams? I have been looking for multiple leverage situations and this one would provide a lot of flexibility.
