Precisely. He’s a ball-dominant, extreme high usage player and a WILDLY inefficient chucker who has shown zero inclination to ever accept a secondary role. How long did it take George to realize that teaming up with him was a mistake??

No doubt, but our lineup isnt getting any younger. Weve got a few years left of Hardens prime, EG, Capela may have trade value until he loses his athleticism.

Weve got everything to gain and nothing to lose considering this team will fall off a cliff in 2-3 years anyway so what's it matter?

Desperate times. Everyone knows Russ is an extremely bad fit. But it makes sense why there is interest with everything going on across the league with other teams.

The only way to win now in the NBA is to have stars. We need to get a player who will lead us to wins night in night out. So I'm totally open to any move that'll net us a star and not a giant scrub like Westbrook.

I wonder how EGo, Tucker and Capela are feeling now?!?!?!?. They probaly thought they will stay as Rockets after Tomballer went to the beach. Now 1, or all of them maybe involve another trade for Triple Doubler. Next year, there will be another Khawi-type player who holds hostage a team then sabotages another team.

 

Everyone’s rebound numbers will decrease by at least 4 rebounds a game...

 

It sure how it would work financially - need a third team - but I would do CP3, Gordon and 2 firsts for Russ and Gallinari

Maybe. Russ's rebound numbers are artificially inflated. Check out how many of them are on opponent's missed FTs when Russ takes one of the inside positions and Adams (the strongest man in the NBA) clears everybody else out for Russ and makes no effort to grab the board himself. Sure, Russ is a hell of a rebounder for a guard, But the naked stat hunting is insulting to everybody involved.
