It is okay, all I am saying those predictions are a joke. Sure, it will hit one or two right but majority sound funny.

Bucks, Denver and Co. are regular season teams, they win over 55. Jazz will too about 55-56.

Clippers will win about 56 as well. Worriers will fall to 51.

exactly. it's hard to argue his success, but he made "generic GM" type moves when in memphis. hit on some, missed on others, overpaid some people, never won a single playoff game i believe. in LA he had shaq begging to go to LA so his only real claim to fame would be trading for kobe (and even then most reports say kobe basically engineered going to LA anyway). and now with the clippers he has leonard and george begging to go to LA because they're from there. the clippers beat out the defending champs for kawhi because the defending champs don't have a time machine to make kawhi be born in toronto (and even then, if the lakers hadn't already gotten their 2 guys over the last 2 seasons, does kawhi maybe pick them?).

i know he was with GS for a while, but i don't think he had a hand in drafting any of the core 3 did he?

i don't know what previous CARMELO rankings said, but we did have the most wins in the league 2 years ago and were a badly-timed hamstring injury away from probably winning it all. and we were maybe a badly-timed achilles injury from winning it all this year. they can't perfectly account for luck.

West had a huge influence on them drafting and keeping Thompson. Curry was already there by the time he got there and Draymond wasn’t his call.

So what. We’ve had plenty of regular season wins over the last several years. It hasn’t stopped us from losing in the playoffs. I don’t think there’s much doubt that we are good enough to make the playoffs. What we need to do is get better; we need to improve the team.

Someone who does it for a living year after year is far less likely to be right than a bunch of overemotional clutchfans posters.....

From what I have heard he was a poorly defined "advisor" to the owners/GM. Hard to say how much input he had into which decisions. The one I remember hearing was that he was the loudest "hell no" voice when they considered trading Klay for Kevin Love.

I agree. They'll either win 59, less than 59 or more than 59 but 59.8 is BS.

Even if they happen to have the Rockets right, they got everyone else wrong, the West is deep as hell.

I do not think the East is bad enough for the Sixers to claim 60+ wins easily either.

They threw out a lot of 54 win teams, so it got to be close.

PG literally only turns up for like 3 months of the season and then goes into hiding. Kawhi can't carry a team for the whole season. It also wouldn't surprise me if both get injured for a couple of months.

Seems right. We get 60 wins last year if we don't sleepwalk through the first two months.

I love these rankings - people openly questioning why the teams without the shiny new toys are so high. Hmmm - maybe there is something to that...

ESPN needs to start looking for a new statistical model that is based purely off of hot takes. Call it the IDIOT projections. You’ll know it’s working if it guarantees the Lakers win 65+ games.

I wonder how much Tilman paid for these "predictions"?
