NYC only works for Russ if he wants to go there. He will largely dictate where he goes if he wants to go to a fairly established contender to try to win a ring he will go there. If He wants to go somewhere where he can help them rebuild, for that he will go to New York City, Miami or maybe New Orleans.

Westbrook has had 3 knee surgeries and missed a big chunk of games last year.

He is if you care more about stats, highlights, and one in one play.

Gee, if only the Rockets were a team that specialized in such a thing.

Heart/age issues. We landed a poor man's Kevin Love years ago who wilted.

Now we worried we'd get a richer man's Ryan Anderson....

So you're saying that's what we need more of? The Clippers add two of the top one on one defenders in the entire league and your antidote is to play more one on one?

The concept of going one on one was essentially about getting the weakest defender against the best one on one player(s). At the same time, getting Warriors to do the same, baiting Durant to shoot 2s at a high enough clip to where they're not going off on a super quick 12 point run.

That strategy was almost good enough, and ultimately didn't yield us a ring (regardless of a hamstring injury). In one off-season the Warriors will go back to a ball-hopping, free flowing offense, Lakers will become a bully of a team, and Clippers will have the best defensive team with three elite on-ball defenders.

Getting a player to add to a one-on-one style isn't the answer, especially if that means taking possessions away from one of the greatest iso players.

When this happens and the Rockets make a run...Clutchfans will switch up and swallow their words as they often do.

He will be a like Rivers....hated turned into love...

    it always happens.

    Still better than air.

Rockets trade CP3 for air, no team wanna take it.

Ah yes, like the great signing of Carmelo. I remember when clutchfans hated him.

Fan opinion should be turning to love any day now...

A desperation move that further guts roster flexibility, because once the Rockets trade those picks, they have no other assets to un jam their mistakes.

    Up to two Westbrook threads.

By midweek, there will be a dozen all from different people saying we have interest.
