Westbrook is a dumb player. OKC makes it tougher for him though bc they have no shooters. Harder to make reads when the lane is so cramped. Put him in our offense and he has the space to attack the rim and make the simple passes. Plus, he loves playing with pace, so we can bring back the 7secs or less offense for stretches of the game. I’d prefer to offload CP in the deal but his trade market is frigid. My crazy trade: Capela ($15 MM) Gordon ($14 MM) Shumpert (SnT $13 MM) All NGs ($7.3 MM) Nene (SnT $4.3 MM) Is $49 MM in outgoing salary. Can take back Westy + Adams ($63 MM). OKC gets out of the luxury tax this year, with Capela as the only long term salary incoming. I bet Presti would rather not bottom out, and Capela/Gallo/Grant/Gordon/Schroeder is good enough to be a fringe playoff team in the west.

imagine having harden, cp, and brodie.... brodie essentially playing gordon/cp's roll... always having at least 1 or 2 of these guys on the floor.... we would be stupid lethal.
It makes sense in some respects due to lengthening our window a couple years and he might be less prone to injury now. If there ever was any truth to CP3 wanting out then we will push this hard. Basketball wise this is a step down. I like Adams a little better than Capela but Westbrook's shooting will be a problem. We would need him to mostly attack the rim which might not be so bad. Harden spotting up on Westbrook drives could be lethal as long as they share. He's definitely a better rebounder than CP3. Still doesn't solve our biggest problem which is creating from the frontcourt though.
