My homie texted me saying that Woj was on right now during Summer League and that he said Miami and Houston are the most interested right now in Westbrook. Anyone else see this?

Nah. You need guards that can actually shoot to win in this league

We are interested in everyone until they are traded to someone else.

    Yikes.

25.8 mil this year and 27.5 mil the next, with a 7.5% trade kicker.

And beyond that I think Clint at this point is noticeably better than Adams.

yes Woj reported this but both scenarios unlikely.

    1) Miami is hard capped and just waived Ryno so it would very hard for them to pull off the trade and they have no picks until 2028

    2) CP3 ain't going to let Morey just trade him to OKC, he'll probably refuse to play for them and use all his PBA powers to stop this trade.

I just finished listening to today's Woj pod with Lowe.
Woj brought up Houston as a destination "because Morey is always interested in stars" and Lowe was quick to dismiss it.
Sounded more like Woj throwing in ideas, rather than actual sources.

    3) Presti isn’t getting rid of Russ in order to try and add CP0’s albatross contract

OKC ownership wants to reduce payroll...they have absolutely no need for CP0, so he ain’t gotta worry

Nothing to see here (yet anyways)

... a team like Miami who doesn't have salary cap space, if they're going to improve, will have to do like they did at the beginning of free agency - a sign & trade. Houston was a team without cap space trying to work sign & trades. We're not in free agency. He's not a free agent. You're just looking at a trade. Miami continues to try & add talent. They really wanted DeMarcus Cousins. The Heat are a team to watch & there will be others.

clint better defensively, adams better offensively.

we are probably to the point where its either go for westbrook to try and pair another star with james, or blow it up....

what other options do we have to get better ? we cant even get above average players to come here with our cap situation.

the only tiny bit of hope i have is that House continues to improve and plays close to an all-star level like EGO, and we somehow someway get some fukkin length upfront.

as long as the draft picks stay, why not? I don't expect championship either way.
