Iggy would help us be better as a whole honestly.

Well I guess it has to be Iggy and Cousins/Green now.

If Marcus Morris is amenable to coming back to Houston, I’d gladly take him for the remainder of the MLE.

Iguodala isn’t a savior, but he’s one of the best defensive small forwards in the league, and would be a major upgrade for the Rockets at a minimal cost compared to other alternatives. He’s a better player than Trevor Ariza, and Ariza was instrumental in helping the Rockets win 65 games in 2017-2018.

2 separate trades for Robert Covington and Aaron Gordon need to happen first.

Iggy should be a fall back plan.

    Paul/Rivers
    Harden/Green
    Covington/House
    AG/Tucker
    Capela/Noah/Hartenstein

Maybe even facilitate multi team trade with CP3 to Lakers if it aquires 3rd All Star in return.

The 2 LA teams have become legit contenders and not just because both teams have 2 current All Stars. Their supporting cast is excellent.

Lakers: AD, Lebron, Danny Green, Kuzma, KCP, Javale

Clippers: Kawhi, PG, Bev, Lou Will, Harkless, Trez, Shamet

No doubt both teams also have advantage of luring the best remaining FA on vet min to ring chase and enjoy Cali.

Rockets have to be more aggressive now, not less.

Iggy and Dwight should be fall back plans - get younger, longer and more explosive complementary players for Harden.

Health history must be a consideration, Harden should not have to carry another injury riddled team next season then expect him to perform miracles in postseason.

    7 picks if necessary.

My negativity has subsided. I’m feeling good about us now. A couple of doable moves from being a real threat

LOL @ flexibility again! And really Danny Green was our #2 target and it’s only Iggy left? I thought Morey was this mastermind with plan A-Z mapped out, something he said himself as well.

Not surprising, he was never in their rotation. Old with crappy contract too.

To me it seems very plausible we'll sign and trade Shumpert for Iggy. If Iggy can help that's great. But more importantly his higher expiring salary could allow us to add a salary of over 20 million by the deadline. If there is an Otto Porter type situation out there that could be useful. A whole lot more useful than just letting Iman Shumpert walk.

If it was that simple Iggy would be here now.
