Wouldn’t put us over the hump. I think Shumpert, 2 seconds and a first should be enough and is hopefully the next move. Use the 2.2 million in whoever will take a big discount to join for a year; in this order Jam Green, Morris or Cousins and lets get it.
They might not. You might have to get a 3rd team involved. And it doesn't have to be EG; I just want Covington.
Shorter contract, lets them hit bottom faster. Rosas may know something about RoCo's recovery, or lack thereof, from his knee injury. Gordon played really well, the last two months here. Maybe Rosas thinks that's the new normal for Gordon?

Rockets have the best starting five in the league. And he is absolutely right! Just enjoy the road to the championship next June. There is no historical Warriors juggernaut in the way this time.
The Rockets might not look like they won in this offseason, but they did simply by running it back. The balance of power in the league has now been spread out and there are no super teams. This same core of Rockets players nearly dethroned one of the greatest teams ever in 2018 and went toe to toe for 6 games this season. I agree with this article that the Rockets have the best starting five in the league, not to mention Austin Rivers off the bench. Trade for Iggy to round out the rotation. Plus, let’s not forget that Capela has improved every season. I would expect him to be better next season.
you know someone is desperate when they have to resort to citing Bleacher Report for a positive spin... Murray, Murray, Murray... when will you learn to take chemistry into account, to diversify your gameplan - and to stop chasing past their prime former superstars with huge salaries... For such a smart guy, Murray sure is oblivious to some aspects... smh... that said, I'd still put us top 5...
To be fair. Bleacher report just used 538s projection model and projected what every teams starting 5 will be and then added up the projected win shares and listed them in order. Essentially 538s info repackaged by bleacher report. 538 does good work.
Sometimes in life you gotta lie to yourself in order to feel good and confident about yourself. consider Morey a liar....
Fair acknowledgement... but I'd say its still junk science... BC once again, stuff doesnt happen in a vacuum... A slightly above average player who's the focus on a crappy team can have inflated numbers... A young player with potential who's been stuck behind a vet and running with a crappy second unit may be better than numbers indicate.... Stats are a tool... if you use them solely to draw an ultimate conclusion there's a lot of room for error...
Yea I’m not buying the #1 ranking. Both Paul and Tucker are getting deep into their 30s, we have to real size outside of Capillow, the iso ball system sucks and we’ve yet to fire MDA. We’ll be a legitimate playoff team but expecting anything more than that is setting yourself up for heartbreak.
What if CP3 demands a trade to the Lakers? Lakers get Chris Paul Rockets get Oubre, Kuzma, Lance Suns get KVP, Rondo, picks, picks, picks
I don’t think anyone is drawing any ultimate conclusions here. Starting 5s are important. Very important actually, but everyone knows 5 guys aren’t enough to have a great record and advance far. Just projections. That site happens to be pretty damn good at projections. And they project our starting 5 to be very, very strong and conducive to winning. It’s a good thing.
