Who are the superteams right now? Most teams in the West are great, but I wouldn't go so far as to say "super." Lakers (LeBron / AD / trash depth) Clippers (Kawhi / PG / solid depth) Rockets (Harden / CP3 / Capela / meh depth) Jazz (Mitchell / Conley / Gobert / ok depth) Blazers (Lillard / McC / Nurkic / ok depth) Nuggets (Jokic / Murray / solid depth) Warriors (Curry / Draymond / meh depth) Mavs (Doncic / Porzingis / meh depth) I don't see a single "superteam" on that list. I see many competitive teams.
OKC had Harden, Durant and Russ and ended up with a bunch of unprotected draft picks. It’s like if the Astros had traded Springer, Correa, Altuve and the rights to Bregman after we lost to Kansas City that one year.

I just want to say that the clippers might be good, but to me you can't overstate the fact that kawhi had LA in San Antonio and while they did get to the conference finals before Kawhi got hurt, it took them 6 games to get past memphis and the rockets. I don't think it is a given that kawhi wins a championship WITH the clippers and I think Toronto was a lot better at supporting kawhi's championship than they will get credit for. We'll see.
Look at all the good players to come through OKC in the past 7-8 years. Durant, Westbrook, Harden, Oladipo, George. 3 former MVPs, an MVP candidate and a really good young player. Then you have guys like Ibaka, Adams and Sabonis. All really solid players. Pretty crazy how far from grace OKC has fallen.
Man, it would suck to wake up as a Raptors fan to this news this morning. Talk about sucking the joy out of a championship moment....
