Which playoffs team get better this season? Threat to rockets.

    I don’t trust nets. They get worse this season. Russell plays 81 games last season and takes the team to 6th seed. Irving plays average 63 games in his career, 60 in 2018 and 67 in 2019. There is no way that They can improve to 5th seed.
    76ers get worse. They need good shooters, nobody can shoot now.
    Bucks get worse, lose brogdon, 50/40/90.
    Raptors get worse bc of age of Lowry and Gasol.
    Celtics lose horford.
    Golden states are injured.
    Rockets are a year older.

    2 teams get better.
    Nuggets add porter jr, 2018 #1 overall pick candidate.
    Jazz get better, add Conley and bojan.

    Porter and his family is chronically injured. Unless he can get consistency staying injury free and working their system, they don’t “magically” get better.

    Utah though, we better watch out.

    Lmfao West is to stacked. SAS, LAC, and NOLA gonna be outside the playoffs. Put blazers at 6, okc at 7/8

    j*zz got better, i don't wanna face them in first round.
    faker got better with AD. IF kawhi join them, then faker could be the biggest threat.
    these are the only two threats.

    The Jazz are the only team that got clearly better, the others are the same or didn't change enough to make them different imo, aside for the SIxers, and i'm not sure how that will work out.

    Utah got better on paper, but let's see if it translates to the court.

    Also, a lot of people writing of GS as if they can't flip Russell for something around the deadline and make a run in the playoffs.

    Lakers is going to be a threat not because they got players, but NBA can't survive another postseason without Lebron.

    Denver. People on this forum aren't scared of them but they are a fantastic team. Jokic is an MVP candidate and their entire team gets better each year. His defense improved last year (more than can be said about JH) and he NEVER checks out on offensive or defensive possessions.

    Gary Harris is a stud and had an off year back from injury last year. But he's a dynamic scorer, very efficient and has a special connection with Joker. I love Murray (streaky but has massive potential) and Millsap is the veteran presence and defensive anchor for that team.

    They made it to the West Semis in their first year making the playoffs unlike us - we were bounced by Lillard in the first year of Harden. And it didn't take seven games

    The sky is blue and bananas are yellow. That’s about the same connection between a 2013 Rockets team and a 2019 Denver team.

    But yeah they are a good team with a legitimate shot at contention. Rockets are in that group as well. Paul is going to have to be better and the defense needs an uptick.
