It's already been a better off season than I expected.... I figured there was no way Rivers would be back - then he takes the min - he's my new hero! I figured House was 50/50 and we got him locked up for a few years - hopefully he continues to improve... I was indifferent on GG... but at the min... why not... I didnt think Tomball Jimmy was happening - and glad it didnt! Folks that are disappointed are those that actually listen to the lip service that Morey and the org put out - dont do that, it will only disappoint you...
Agreed , but we still need more . We have money left. Decent vets have been signing at the minimum all day long . There are still names out there that can help us . I know training camp is a ways off and the longer we wait , the more those guys asking price will go down .... but they could also get snapped up . Are we waiting to see how hartenstein and Clark look in summer league ? Haha
well i'm sure we could have our pick of free agents... but Murray wants to retain flexibility for the buy out market... ...not really... but if he doesnt sign anybody then thats what he'll tell ya... lol
Players are just lining up to play for less than market value when other teams are throwing stupid money at them.
Absolutley And when no one that "shakes loose" wants to come here it will be "there wasn't a fit" Frankly I know that we are likely to get a better player in the buyout market for vet min than now .... But given MDA's tendency to hit the panic button when we get off to a slow start ... I'd rather start the season with max depth and win a bunch of games so he will rest James
Utah has improved, Portland has improved, Warriors keep re stacking & just became the youngest team in the league, Lakers are getting whoever the F they want (hopefully not Kawhi), Denver is only going to get better... But we're going to stand pat cuz why TF not. MOAR 3's will solve everything.
Morey literally sitting at home eating cheese burgers. This guy invested so much energy in getting butler. He was left in shambles after he went to miami
While Morey was busy eating another donut, the Lakers snatch Dudley for a mere $2.6M. I've been wanting this dude for a long time. Good bench player with a dog attitude who always had good things to say about the Rockets. SMDH...
Sometimes the biggest moves are the ones that you don't make..... That in on itself deserves fireworks. *Drops Mic*
Jazz are definitely better, but I think we'd still beat em in a series.... And that we're better. Portland is worse. Warriors are obviously worse. Nuggets could get better or therne could be some regression... Thats the best that young group has done and no one will be surprised by them... They have to show they can be consistent. Lakers are the primary threat and hopefully they don't get Kawhi... If they don't, then we're better and the best team in the West.
