I hope Warriors are finished. I can't wait to see the heated battles between KD and the Warriors.

Warriors going way over the top with the KD love. Guessing they’re hoping to fool everybody by making everyone forget that they rushed him back too quickly.

Even the Warriors organization knows that if they didn't have Durant it would've been 1 Chip.

....so they didn't actually retire his number like hang a 35 from the rafters....it's just like a soft promise that no one will wear the number 35 while he is a "co-chair" - right?

The symbolic peace offering while ruthlessly moving on sounds pretty 'on brand' for Golden State. "Hey KD - thanks for giving us your best years, tearing your achilles because of us, THEN allowing us to guilt you into a sign and trade so we can get the best consolation price ever acquired in a sign and trade in D'angelo Russel so we can dangle the guy in every trade rumor for the next 3 months. Good luck with the rest of your 'post Achilles tear as a 30 something' career! Love, Joe Lacob. PS - thanks for the memories like the one where my girlfriend and I used the NBA trophy as a sex toy. Those were good times."

That could make it hard to recruit him back there some day if he’d have to switch numbers.

Not as bad as Pat Riley retiring Jordan's jersey in Miami.

I was just coming in here to post that it could be even more comical because there was this one time where a team retired the jersey of a player that didn't even play for them. lol.

There should be a banner with him in greek Warriors costume and an arrow in his heel.

"He died so that we could live...to Game 6."
