    Having a solid big come off the bench to keep Capela fresh at 30 mpg would be huge for us. Per36, Looney is a 10/10 hustle player.

    Lol Looney coming in for Capela. He made Capela his biiiitch during the playoffs!! They need to find somewhere to send Capela , free up some money and bring in Looney , who has WAY better hands then Capela and probably has more offensive prowess

    If you can get Looney on a reasonable deal, I think you do it - As mentioned earlier, if him and Capela are splitting minutes you can keep the risk of injury down for both players and Looney still adds value out there plus it seems like Houston thinks Capela will ultimately be dealt to give us a real starting wing in which case Looney + a younger vet like Nene is fine since you are playing PJ at the 5 in crunch time.

    Looney is a skilled, high-substance two-way player.

    Which is exactly why I doubt stupid Daryl Morey will sign him. He’d rather chase big name trash.

    Agree - Looney seems destined for a FA loser to overpay for him. Are the Knicks on the clock yet? Does one of the LA teams convince themselves that Looney is the missing piece? Probably....
