Miami wants to get rid of Dragic. Dallas has 0 interest in him

whatever it takes to get out of Paul's contract. Whiteside expires after this season.

Whiteside and James Johnson trade works for Paul.

Yeah, but I'm sure Miami wants Butler more than anything. And if its gonna take olynyk, DJ, + then I assume they will do it.

doesnt sound like it from all the reports. miami is set on getting rid of dragic. the longer this drags out, the worse it is for miami, as teams will continue using their cap space

I dont see LAC doing it with their plethora of guards.

I can see LA taking on Dragic if they strike out on Kawhi, but that's an if and a ways away.

    NYK are out.

That leaves Dallas. Sooner or later Miami will have to cave to their demands or lose out on Butler.

Dallas has all the leverage, and if they dont want Dragic, there is nothing Miami can do.

How does that make the Rockets any better? Are they just punting on this coming season in that scenario?

as they probably should because dallas is also trying to sign pieces which includes Danny Green. so once these teams run out of actual cap space to do miami a favor, sorry miami you totally f'd this one up

They are extending Harden's prime by removing Paul of off the team in 2 years when he's making 40 mil and is 37 years old.

Even if the Heat deal falls completely apart it would seem more likely he'd go to LA at this point than Houston based on what we've learned.

No way Riley lets this fall apart. It would be way too embarrassing.

Pat Riley is the guy who pulls out of deals, not the guy who gets pulled out on.
