There's more to carrying the load than just scoring. If Paul tried to be our main focal point, he might not even play 45 games. Those hamstrings are shot. But I get it you are frustrated and we need more ball movement.

You are either a fool or blinded by sheer hate. It’s clearly both. When Paul went down is when the Rockets took off and had the best record in the NBA! In fact it was after that 11-14 start is when Harden said give the damn ball and the Rockets finished with the best record in the NBA when he put them on his back.

It was far more successful then a old washed up slow Paul’s way. Go watch the jazz series where Paul was killing the team with his failed ISO plays and Harden had to finish the games in the fourth after Paul was killing us. Seriously if you want to argue this team would have been more successful with Paul running it then go ahead but it’s farcical.

History doesn't show us that. Paul had never been out of the second round until Harden brought him there. Now I don't think we can have our entire offense based on Harden reads. We need some set plays and a lot more movement. Basically, we need to coach to draw up plays and help the team. Unfortunately for us, Mike D'Antoni doesn't coach. So either Mike has to go or he has to do a 180 next season.

We'll be alright. Harden will be an MVP finalist again next year and the Rockets will have a top 3 record in the West. The rangy 3 and D shooter scorer is a thing we didn't get this offseason but we are rock solid at this point. I'm not sure how the Warriors getting D'angelo Russell plays into that but I can't imagine he would be at any point as un-guardable as Durant. We're going to win the West this year.

Yea it was sad to see. Paul isn't going to be able to consistently ISO any more and he knows it. That's why he's calling for more set plays. Paul needs to run pick and rolls to get off his man and get going downhill. From there, with some coordinated off-ball movement Paul can make the right reads and passes. But that requires a total system change and, more importantly, coaching. Players need to know where to go, where to set screens etc. That's on Mike and his staff. D'Antoni has to put Paul in positions to be successful......in other words he needs to actually f**king coach!

We have no choice as we are stuck with Paul so I agree a bit of tinkering to the offense is needed

Yea we are stuck with CP0 so we have to tweak the offense. He will likely never beat anybody off the dribble ever again (a bit of a stretch) so Mike needs to create and implement set plays. I would say bring back the 7 seconds or less offense but those old hamstrings aren't going to be able to keep that pace without rupturing. We need set plays. Harden can't ISO on everybody all the time.....plus what happens if he breaks.

Does anybody know if play designing is even in Mike's wheelhouse? (serious question)

Harden may be prepping to go to Miami himself. That may be why he and Butler were talking so much.

Well if we were to tank, it should've been last year since next year and the year after's draft is weak af. Instead we went "all-in" on CP3 and basically screwed ourselves over.

Now, even if we trade Harden we can't tank since we can't move CP3 without giving up picks.

Just waiting for Harden to ask to be traded before the all-star break. We won't need to decide for him. He'll do it himself.

lol, no, they’re not irrelevant right now...irrelevant is the Rockets before Harden arrived when we might as well have been the Charlotte Hornets of the WC the way nobody gave a fck about us

We had prime Hakeem, and then it took how long before we got another MVP caliber player? Like 20 years...

the Rockets need to do whatever they can to try and win a title while they have a player this good, because it could be YEARS before we get another player that even comes close to Harden
