Other than bringing harden ,as much as a plus was trading for paul ,its was much worse the contract that he gave him which ended up handicapping us,oh lets not please mention all the times that he freely gives away our 1st rd draft picks year after year .Prove me wrong.

Everybody here is like 10 years late to the party. A guy that has never played organized basketball in his life ? Check. A guy that has had the most free-reign to dictate a team's offensive philosophy despite previous point ...CHECK. Why are people surprised. @cheke64 and I have been b****ing about this for so long. Our GM 10 years ago is much worse than Morey(I know he is a Houston legend and his jersey is retired). There were so many games when Yao and Tmac combined for 60, and the rest of the crew combined for less than 20. We couldn't pass the first round because of that. The moment Morey came, we quickly had a very deep team. He acquired Lowry, Brooks, Scola, Artest, Landry almost from nowhere, and we passed the first round even without Tmac. As big a Yao fan as I am, I much prefer watching this era's Rockets, which constantly goes deep into the playoffs and has a real threat to the chip, than 10 years ago when we really struggled to get over the first round because Dawson couldn't build a bench.

Well he strongly believes he has a championship tier team, i mean they are good. This is the one chance the window is open. If Lakers somehow beat the rockets in the western conference finals this year, it will be crazy.
But 10 years ago we didn't have an average GM. At least Morey is much better than what we had for the 10 years before he came. I don't miss our GM 10 years ago, that's my point.
