Welcome back Air Yordon. He belongs in the cleanup spot on an everyday basis. Brantley 5th and Correa 6th. Correa was a stink bomb when he came back from injury last year, he'll have to earn his way higher in the lineup.
Jeeezus Josh, pull that ball a little farther next time. eta: Hah....did it again but missed the upper deck.
Correa was on fire before the injury. Provided he doesn't have a bad back injury again, he doesn't need to lose AB's. People consistently forget his unique all-fields hitting skill-set.
Which of the other guys in the lineup would you like to be hitting 5th? eta: I will say that possibly the most mind-boggling thing about White this year is his total ****ing ineptitude against LHP.
Wow Serious question. What does White do for the Astros on a major league level? There was an absolute certainty that with his SHIIIIIIIIIT AB there that we wouldn't score again in the inning. And him having that **** an AB was almost a certainty. 2 runs there is sad, and it's solely because of him.
Even though Reddick failed he is a better choice than White even left handed. White and Stassi should be hitting 8th and 9th if they have to play. Just sick of both of those guys.
We still have a few more weeks before Correa is back, maybe he cools off and it makes more sense to bat Correa ahead of him. But if Alvarez maintains a pace anywhere near what he's doing now you'd still put Correa ahead of him? Correa may be fire but Alvarez is atomic. Shouldn't have your highest OPS guy...by a wide margin, battling 6th.
Felt like a momentum switch with his AB is all. As soon as that pathetic AB happened it just felt like the others wouldn't pick him up, and that's sadly what happened.
Ankle, sounds like it's just precautionary, I hope. He was really looking like the good ol' Yuli the past couple of weeks.
