    To the OP, why would you want to float this kind thing into the ether. Even if in remote chance it ends up being true, why would anyone want to be 'that guy' that claims credit for breaking that kind of bad news.

    GSW is hobbled, HOU has a very good chance to take the West next year.

    This thread is way dumber than what Yahoo Sports and Bleacher report have been reporting. There's no way James Harden is leaving Houston. The Rockets' organization have done so much for him. No way he's leaving them easily like that. But I can see James Harden leaving Houston when he's out of his prime, when he turns 34-36 years old he might want to join Westbrook and Durant for one more ride before he retires.

    I want to win a championship a little too badly. I'm just sharing my opinion. Harden has a couple years of elite play left and he won't spend it on a non-title team, in my opinion.

    1. First round picks are hit or miss
    2. Morey has hit on multiple first round picks. They aren't all on the Rockets anymore, but they are still having successful careers in the NBA.
    • Clint Capela
    • Marcus Morris
    • Jeremy Lamb
    • Montrezl Harrell
    • Patrick Patterson
    All these are players that have met or exceeded their drafting positions.

    The rockets have been an elite team in any other era besides the warrior dynasty era. It’s bad luck more than anything. If we stand pat we’re the favorites in west, not overwhelmingly, but still the favorites. One of harden’s best attributes is his loyalty. He’s never even hinted at wanting out of Houston and I appreciate that. He wants to win here and this year will be our best chance since we’ve had him.

    He does not want to move around, in the documentary by Karen Morey he was perplexed OKC traded him, it would never occur to him, something egregious.

    Yea Okay. If it doesn’t work out, whatever. If he wants to be dealt, the team asking are going to have to throw in lottery picks and more for that to happen. Don’t care what he wants. We want a championship
