As long as you have shitbag teams like the Wizards and Mavs willing to help out the Lakers and Warriors when they're clearly trying to build superteams, this will always be the case. The question is where are these teams when it's the Rockets trying?? Oh, that's right. You have ****tards like the T-Wolves blocking us from getting Jimmy LAST year because they'd be damned if THEY helped create a superteam. Well, look what's about to happen.....ANOTHER superteam.

Is Steve Kyler using the kid to make himself look one of the real insiders? Lol

Does he do everything right, or is he just focused on overspending for washed-up big names. Should've saved picks and developed some players.

They just want to have everyone going to the Lakers. They've been talking about this for months or even years now.

No one wants to play with Lebron, honestly i don't get why AD wants to play with him. Maybe he's just desperate to win after years of doing nothing but racking up stats.

It's basically the media creating narratives and whoever gets talked about the most, puts the most money in and most people want will convince Vegas to tip the betting odds and the cycle starts all over again. Let's see who comes up with a new team tomorrow. Lakers and Rockets can believe all they want, Butler and Kawhi are far from a given to go to either team. Nobody knows what they're thinking, 100% speculation.

Yep, nice post. This is why I thought that Klay Thompson would have been the best for for us if he were healthy. Best 3 and D forward in the league.

    Applies to everyone.

Even the Clippers who play in the same arena.

Durant was out 5 quarters. Anything can happen in a small sample size.

The playoffs are always a small sample size and you have control over how big or small it is. It’s the Rockets’ own fault for making it smaller.

To the Rockets credit for making it smaller, actually. Not many other teams were able to do that.

Shout out to the Wizards for helping the Lakers create cap space. No matter what happens, I know the Lakers are truly back because other teams are doing everything possible to facilitate the Lakers getting more stars.

If that happens, the Lakers become the new "Golden State." However, they may not be able to afford a bench. Parity is entertaining; super teams, not so much.

Why do the Wizards owe the rest of the league anything? They are tanking for the next 2 years.

    They don’t.

However, I hope they win 15 games next year and end up with the fifth pick, and Laker fans take over Washington’s arena when they play at the Wizards.
