I think the bigger picture is you bring in butler to make Harden happy. Harden hasn’t played with a true Allstar in his prime his entire career in houston. Every other player or his age and caliber has played with atleast one if not more Allstars since harden cane to houston. Cp3 was great his first year and we won 65 games and almost won a chip. Hell even garbage Westbrook plays with PG13 who’s under 30 yrs old and in his prime. What’s funny is from a production standpoint up until this year jimmy butler has actually been better than PG13 over the past several years dating back to Chicago days and PG13 in Indy. But now with PG13 in okc and playing with another I guess I’ll call him a superstar, he’s upped his game to mvp level. I don’t think jimmy can do that here because harden is just better than PG13 Westbrook and butler but I do think he can go back to his 25/5/5 year he had in Chicago with better efficiency from 3. Butler is one of the best at drawing fouls also we’d have two elite foul drawers on the same team. It’s a no brained to get butler imo. Harden needs this we haven’t seen harden with a true Allstar top 15 player under 30 years old yet. The closest we got was cp3 first year and it went really well if you ask me prob champs if his age didn’t catch up with him in the WCF. For all the flack the rockets get and a lot of it is self inflicted with their constant talking in the media their still the only team to be up on GS when the warriors were at full strength. I love that Toronto won but GS was all sorts of banged up and let’s be real Toronto easily could have lost to jimmy butler and the 76rs in round 2. Dude makes the luckiest shot at the buzzer if not that goes to OT and who knows 76rs could have just as easily won as the raps did.
