Daryl, DON'T DO IT! Bringing in Butler will be a mistake. Within the past 3yrs, he's missed just as many games as CP3, if not more. He has too many miles on those legs. But this is classic Morey, going for the names and not team building. We can't blame Tilman, this has always been Morey's M.O. This remind me of when Morey went after Nene the first time! Morey was going to offer Nene a maximum long term contract and luckily the deal feel through. Nene resigned with Denver and he was consistently HURT and they had to trade him! ROCKET FANS wakeup, this is not a good move!!!! We are getting rid of three above average players for a 30yr old wing with tons of miles.....HE WAS HURT A 3RD OF THE SEASON LAST YR! We complained about Harden minutes last yr, think of what next yr will be like with CP3 and Butler on the same team, without a EG, Capela and possibly Tucker....HARDEN WILL HAVE TO PLAY THE WHOLE GAME, JUST OT GIVE US A CHANCE TO WIN AND BY THE PLAYOFFS HE WILL BE DEAD TIRED! I do not know jimmy butler is clutch but i guess age does play a factor a little but i would not look at injury alone you have to look at all the body of work he has done since coming into the league

Here's you problem. You think we can afford to bring in a good player with the the exceptions we have. We can't. There is no SG or good PG that will not get paid more that we can offer because everyone has cap space this year. We have to go big or settle for bottom tier FAs.

EGo,Capela and Tucker (who I love) are role players and easily replaceable. Morey understands the NBA is a star driven league. I'm all on board with bringing in Butler for this reason.
