I believe he was the first to report that Carmelo and the Thunder were “circling each other” even though it seemed like Houston was the only logical place for Melo.

A week or so later and Melo was traded to the Thunder.

That was fishy as hell how the Jazz just took on all them awful contracts. You are correct as they ended up spending it on Iggy, but was also trying for Dwight.

Ability or inclination?? Are you trying to say that CP3 and Harden aren't good enough shooters to space the floor for another creator (which Houston certainly appears to need)?

But let's say for some reason Philly or another team wants Tucker instead of Clint or Gordon, or they don't make the deal, do you really pass on a star in his prime for that?

With that said i agree with you on the fact that in this scenario Butler should opt in to give his next team a better chance to win, being able to keep two of these players instead of only one would be big for the Rockets, no question.

On Gordon i don't really know, i mean, probably both things were a factor, i guess that's a good middle ground.

    Bill's not the sharpest.

Get nothing and he walks or potentially Eric Gordon who fits in nicely on his last year and draft picks..

my sentiments almost exactly. But but but, Butler could bluff that he's signing with another team. Honestly if that's the best leverage he's got, it only confirms my belief that a lot of folks are in for some major disappointment.

A year ago after the Warriors signed Cousins "nobody will beat the Warriors" bla bla, no mention of possible lockeroom problems between him and Draymond, Durant... now everyone is so focused on the Rockets having lockeroom problems if they get Jimmy, lmao they're cute.

    Exactly this.
Gordon is a great fit next to Simmons. Can defend the quicker PGs and then play off the ball offensively.

This really is laughable. Smart clubs are run better than this mindset. Whats in it for Philly? Maybe get something for nothing especially if Jimmy is going anyway. Reckon Bill's dislike for Houston is shining through here.

Why would you trade the one player thats worth more than his contract? Pj tuckers contract is so valuable. You dont just cut it for space.

broussard and sas got out ahead of all this early, quite frankly worried at the thought of HOU putting together a squad the fakers have no chance defeating
