Not gonna lie - PJ is my favorite player since chuck wagon. I loved Beverly but boy this one will hurt a lot
They all did whatever it took to put together a championship team. The Heat and Celtics started with one star and added two more via trades and free agency. The Warriors drafted well, then added key free agents. The point is: You do whatever it takes. If that means sacrificing someone who tries really hard for someone who's really good, then you do it. You increase the talent level on your roster any way you can. And it's much easier to fill out the #4-8 spots than it is to find three stars for #1-3.
This how we've gotten this far. It is how we got James, it is how we got Chris....I agree the team needs chemistry but if there is a possibility of getting Jimmy Butler, because he wants to be here, you do it. PJ is awesome but the Wild West is changing around us. If this makes us better overall why not? Buying a way to a championship? They are pro athletes they get paid to play. They dont do it for free.
And don't forget, our wonderful chemistry got us bounced in the 2nd round with everyone screaming at each other on the way to the locker room. PJ's a great guy and I love him on our team. But trade him so we can get Butler? In a heartbeat, if not faster.
Hope you have a soft spot in your heart for those #14-18 draft picks. You'll be seeing a lot of them.
I love Tucker as a player but do whatever it takes to make the team better. Have to take the emotions out of it and do what is best to win a championship. Whatever it takes.
Harden deserves to play with another all star level talent during his tenure. We are wasting his primary years.
Tucker is the new Ariza, Rocket’s need a SF/PF that can start and avg. 10-12 points a game.. and not have multiple games of 0-3 points. Don’t care how great his defense is
