[Woj] Rockets may be offering the farm trying to create space

My worry is that nobody in the league wants to cooperate. I think Morey dangles more than he should just to stress test the situation. Morey offered up 4 first round picks for Butler and still no one would cooperate.

No one cooperates with the Rockets. All this third team business has me worried. Rockets nevers get that third team.

 

to get butler, if it costs all 3 guys, that without a doubt defeats the purpose of getting him. PJ tucker should not be part of the process

 

Tucker is a 3 & D 3/4, and he's a tough leader. That is the most valuable a role player can be in today's NBA.

If all of Clint, Gordon and Tucker (and lets say Nene too) are moved with purely Butler's S&T max salary coming back, would that likely mean Hou can could spend a entire non tax MLE, BAE and room without hitting the cap?

even if we kept tucker its not a championship team IMO. wouldnt this hard cap us ? if we cant put a good supporting cast around them it isnt going to matter. butler is good but hes not KD or kawhi.

Morey might want to keep Tuck's name out of trade talks, but he might have to reluctantly change that tune if Fertitta Landry says, "We didn't include Tucker a year ago and look what happened."
