Sources: Butler will be Moreys main target this summer, and he feels fairly confident it will happen

Don't really get the whole "cp3 and butler wont get along" narrative. The reason jimmy didnt get along with towns and wiggins is because he thought they were soft and not competitors. Cp3 is the complete opposite of that.

 

And Wiggins sucks, can’t forget that.

 

Broussard has no F-ing idea how things would go in that locker room. None.

Honestly.... the media sh*tting on this non-stop is giving me an ill-advised amount of hope. Vegas upped our odds of winning a title. People seem to be acting like they have heard something semi-concrete.

My 2 main concerns:

1) Butler's thoughts about joining a duo who maybe did not communicate well this summer. If you can pick your team, why pick that?
2) Brand dumped Simmons' $1m guaranteed contract at draft time. Sounds like free agency is plan B for him, unless we include a lot of picks.

Last season's CP3 was soft AF. Bad shape to start the season, hesitant on open shots, soft when driving.

- reported "sauces" telling him after Dwight's agreement to sign with the Rockets that Duh-wight* was having second thoughts about leaving the Lakers (either he lied or allowed a simpleton to deceive him; who would believe this?). Made for great click-bait, though.

This is going to end poorly if even 2/3 of those guys are outbound and only Butler is incoming.

 

Yeah, that is not the reason to trade. But we'll see what happens when the smoke clears.

 

I just hope he has some plans for our depth if he does end up moving all three of those guys just to re-route the players/picks in return to Philly for Butler.
