That wasn't aimed at you. Actually I'm glad you put it up. I was about to do the same. Thanks.

Yes, we have control of what Daryl does.

By that measure you condemned us to not drafting Kawhi Leonard, thanks a lot man.

Just who the **** is going to replace him? You have a list of players? Don't worry, I'll wait.

One of the top five players in the league, had to carry the team when injuries occurred and the offseason signings turned out to be scrubs. EGO with his head up his own ass during all the trade rumors. Harden basically had to go Iverson when the rest of the team was still on that beach in the Bahamas, not on the court with him.

Should you be rooting for the Rockets?

Come up with that (realistic) list yet?

    now this is interesting

Rockets opened at 10-1 for the 2020 title back on May 4. They moved to 12-1 on 6/10. Four days later they jumped to 8-1 and have held there. This is at @SuperBookUSA . -- @HPbasketball

What are you going on about? Jay Will mentioned effort/defense nagging from CP3 AND Jimmy several times on the post/video I replied to.

Kevin Durant is officially an unrestricted free agent, via ESPN.

Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant has declined his $31.5M player option and will become an unrestricted free agent, league sources tell ESPN. Durant and his business manager Rich Kleiman are in New York, evaluating free agency options. So far, process has stayed private. - Woj

The opinion on Harden from a consistent Harden hater is worth less than a pile of dog doodoo.

This is the obvious trade to me and it works with salary. Capela to N.O., Gordan to 76ers, Rockets 2021 1st, N.O. 2020 1st. throw in seconds if need be. Butler to Houston. Only works if Butler demands Houston.

You could also do the trade with Tucker and one of our recently signed like d. davis to 76ers

Tucker is the closest thing to untouchable after Harden on our team.

    I agree...If Tucker isn’t now considered untouchable....HE SHOULD BE!

Actually, Any team that has cap room for Capella and willing to give up next year's first will work. I'd rather keep Tucker than Gordan, but it could work with either. Also think the Rockets would rather it be Gordan than Tucker. Still need to find some center with height that can rebound if you give up Capella.

Tucker was arguably our best clutch rebounder during the playoffs. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I still have faith in Jimmy to opt-in. Surely someone in Jimmy's camp has brought up the scenarios that @BimaThug explained in his tweets. Him sacrificing that $8m could be the difference between us being absolute locks for the title and us just being high-level contenders imo.

I don't agree with that mindset to be honest. If MDA doesn't play his bench, we will lose anyway. It's that simple. He has to change that. IMO he has cost himself two titles because of that. Maybe 15 years ago it was a viable discussion whether you'd rather risk injury to a key rotation player or risk a poor performance by a bench player, but MDA himself has decisively ended that argument with how his teams have blatantly ran out of gas at the ends of critical series. Thus far he has stubbornly held on to this silly theory.

But in any case, we have to give the team the best shot at winning and if you have 3 stars to stagger on a starting/backup unit, you can live with your 8th to 10th best players being single-skill specialists. If you can combine Harden/Butler/Tucker/Paul you do it and think of the rest of the team later.
