Season 2 just came out. Anyone watching this? Forgot how good (and how big of a mind ****) the show is
I'm struggling bigtime with Season 2. The whole thing seems to be moving way too freaking slow. And, there is so much time travel going on that it's kind of a pain to track who is where now and what age they are. And, I'm honestly not sure it's translating well from it's native language with the English overdub. I struggle to understand some of this nutso dialogue at times. I'm about to give up because it's so slow that I can't pay attention. It puts me to sleep. I enjoyed season 1, though. I assume everyone is trying to prevent an apocalypse (or Chernobyl disaster) from happening but I'm so bored I no longer care.

I really enjoyed season 2 and binged it all last weekend. Never felt it was slow at all and loved how crazy things progressed. Did need to pause a few times to figure out who people were in the family tree tree.
Loved it. The party episode (mid season climax?) I thought was stellar. Can't even begin to understand how they mapped all this out for writing. Everything seems to fit together so perfectly. All around excellent and so paradoxical that you have no idea how it is going to end. Spoiler: Spoiler Super emotional moments when the parents reunite with their kids after years and years. Ulrich and Mikkel, Claudia and Regina, Jonas with his dad before the suicide.
Yes. English dubbing is the default now on Netflix but you can choose the native German with English subs .
Seems for me at least to default to original language with subtitle but think it’s because I chose it enough times.
Yeah this show is brilliant and thoughtfully crafted. I would recommend watching it subtitled with German. Hearing German is nice, you get hear the real actors/actresses voices like they should be heard, and you feel more engaged and less inclined to look at your phone or whatever. Everything the characters say is important anyway. This is probably the best sci-fi TV show ever.
All I can think is damnnnnnn Ulrich’s had it rough the last few decades! This show is so mind-blowingly good. Tried watching the new stranger things and had to quit after the first episode. Probably just gonna start Dark again from the beginning. And seriously, don’t use the English dubs. It’s way less cheesy and it’s not like the subtitles are that hard to follow.
