Morey never lets go of star players when they are on his radar.

Harden (Yesterday’s video says we were trying to move up in the draft to pick him if he dropped to Minny I think, snagged him in 2012)

Dwight (Believed to have gotten him in 2011/2012, signs with Rockets in 2013)

Bosh (when he was a FA in 2010 and almost got him in 2014)

Paul (Supposedly could have brought him in 2013 with Dwight - probably CP3 using us as leverage for the Clippers to max him and get Doc - and then finally got him in 2017)

    Melo (2011, 2014, 2017 and finally in 2018)

Last time I checked Gordon and capela didnt help us to beat the warriors. Capela was a p***y against the warriors, and a role player like Gordon will not help you beat the warriors. And if anyone counting the warriors off, they are highly mistaken. Not to mention harden will not be able to beat AD and lebron by himself.

I really hate when stuff like this happens, why in the hell Rob Kimbell had to put that in the tweet if Woj didn't say it, smh...

I know. Woj said the Rox want to do a S&T IF they can get Butler to agree to opt in and IF they can get the Sixers to agree to a trade.

Two mighty big ifs. How is this any different from what we knew last week?

I want to trade Capela and fillers for Kevin Love and then make a play for DeAndre Jordan for part of the midlevel. If that happens is there still a way to resign House and Rivers?

    This roster would be nuts..

    CP3/Rivers
    Harden/Rivers
    Butler/House
    Love/PJ
    DJ/Love/iHart

There's no way to do that if it's a sign and trade with a max deal.

    Bobby Marks:

It could not work one-on-one. They'd have to recruit a third team. Butler would be signed to max contract, 4 years $140M. There's a rule called BYC. Butler's $32M would only be worth $20M in a trade. The pieces don't match so that's why you'd need a third team to send out a Clint Capela and Eric Gordon for all the money to match.

Philly would be better off letting Butler go. Then you can bring Harris & Redick back and maybe bring in a Mirotic, Lamb or Green.
