Rivers is solid 6th or 7th man. Aminu would be starting 4.

Love Rivers too (wow, cannot believe I really mean this!) but 3rd point just is not more important than starter.

Hopefully Ponds or Duval are up to task.

Aminu and Gay were hanging with PJ A LOT during Milan and Paris Fashion week. I would love both of them.

I’d be shocked if we can get Aminu for the taxpayer MLE, but if we can, that is absolutely the direction we should go.

Gay seems like a realistic option.

I do not see Aminu starting over PJ Tucker at the 4 if he signs here. I think either player will be one of the first off the bench, though.

474m cap space + millions of exception.

Jazz spend 2 million dollars cash to buy 58th pick.
Everything is expensive. it makes sense tilman doesn’t plan to buy.

Aminu would be already a great get with the ta MLE, would basically be like having Ariza back, although i don't see it, if the Blazers are not willing to pay him i think someone else will.

I think PJ moves to 3 with Gordon (if not traded) first off bench.

If no other moves than just adding Aminu.

    Paul/Gordon
    Harden/Frazier
    Tucker/Green
    Aminu/Clark
    Capela/Nene/Hartenstein

Hartenstein and Frazier were G League studs, can they be like House and take next step.

Hard to steal players from blazers, steal players from other teams.
Blazers can easily pay him 3years 25 million.

Aminu would be amazing, but I'm assuming he will sign for much more than the MLE. Same with Rivers.

Personally I'd be cool with signing any one of these guys and I think they will be in the MLE $ market: Wes Matthews, Markieff Morris, Jeff Green, JaMychal Green, Demarre Carroll, Mike Scott, Jared Dudley, Justin Holiday, Anthony Toliver or Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.

Add one of these dudes and re-sign Shumpert using his Bird Rights for a 2-year $20-30mm deal with a team option on the second season so his contract can effectively be used as an expiring deal to match salaries in a trade.

Something like this is what I expect our offseason to most likely look like.

Aminu is a lamebrain second only to Ennis. I seriously doubt we would be interested in him as a player. Maybe for an expiring contract to push through for someone else. I'm telling you he would drive both Harden and Cp3 nuts.

Aminu reminds me of the proverbial 7' guy the 'next' coach is going to make a stud. Like Thabeet, for example. Yet Aminu doesn't even have that extra altitude...

Collins from Philly will probably re-sign with his team but he shoots over 40% from beyond the arc. At 6’9” he can play SF or PF. Not sure if we have a shot at him but I’d offer him the MLE in a heartbeat over Aminu. J Green isn’t a bad option either, and I like Dudly for the vet minimum. He’s a solid bench player that brings a toughness this team is sorely lacking outside of PJ.

I had that idea like a month ago …. Bima pointed out the BYC issues.

Shumpert can be paid no more than $13.19m without triggering Base Year Clause which means his outgoing "trade value" is equal to the greater of last years salary ($11m) or half of the current salary. So Shumpert would be worth no more than $11m in outgoing salary.

Not a free agent, but one guy I hope we take a look at trading for is Marvin Williams.

Would fit on this team. Maybe SnT Shumpert with a 2nd round pick to Charlotte.

J.R. Smith is expected to join the Lakers if he is waived by the Cavs, per @ChrisBHaynes.

Good, makes the Lakers dumber and it means we're not trading for him :D

Rivers gone, other teams offer more money and more years.

    Trade for 2nd round picks.
