"Making our team Translation: If there's something that will make the team cheaper, I will definitely make it happen. We are gonna do whatever it takes to reduce our luxury tax.
The best possible pick up with the 5.7 M MLE realistically could be Bojan Bogdanovic. He is tall, and is a very good shooter with some ability to score around the basket. He is a UFA. He is a bit slow, but I don't expect anything better than that. MDA could use him as a Ryan Anderson substitute. The Pacers may not let him go though. @ApacheWarrior @Deckard
Fertitta actually knew and wanted to write "you're" but to save cost on printer ink he typed "your" instead
Morey screwed this team so bad giving Paul so much more than he is worth. You know you've screwed up when you can't even trade a guy without giving up more players or draft picks with him. As if we didn't already give up half our team to get him. Hindsight does no good but I blame Morey for this mess that has us in yet another scramble of begging and pleading and possibly trading off a couple of our best players and or picks once again just to fix his mistakes. I hope whatever he makes happen is a smarter decision than his past screw up. Our future could depend on this.
It got funnier because he didn't make anything substantially happen last year and that grammar mistake stuck..... context!
morey was forced to use all our assets to dump salary in more than half a dozen transactions last season. and unfortunately he cannot use future draft picks or next year's cash to upgrade the roster now. cuz he needs to save those for the eventual next round of salary dumps.
This guy just had a really good season, there is no way he is available for even the non tax MLE. The guy is going to get Ryan Anderson type money thrown at him I'm sure.
Theory: Les ordered Morey to trade for Paul, because he knew he was going to sell, and he wanted one last chance to win. He didn't care if the trade looked bad later, because he'd be gone by then. Yeah, yeah, I know. It's a BS theory.
