This is why pippen says there's no pressure to win down here. Priorities in the wrong place

Losing sucks. This would be the last of our worries if we won.

I think some people just automatically look for something to be upset about

I dunno, the new one looks pretty similar to the 70s-early 80s version of the uniform to me:

It's not supposed to be an exact replicate of the original. It's a modern take on the throwback. Similar looking, but not the same.

Whoever said they were supposed to be accurate?

When the Pistons changed their logo/unis the same time as us and later went back. It wasn't EXACTLY the same as it was before. And even when they made it closer to the old jerseys, it still wasn't EXACTLY the same.

The Lakers jerseys aren't EXACTLY the way they were in the 80s and 90s. The Celtics font isn't EXACTLY the same as it used to be.

Teams update and tweak things, even if it's relatively minor. If the Rockets had never gone away from the Ketchup and Mustard, their jerseys would have been tweaked and updated to some degree. There's no reason the jerseys have to be EXACTLY the way they were in 1994.

The reason why I say it's supposed to be accurate is because it's a design that's been used before in the adidas throwbacks. As @Patience pointed out though, they are like the early 70-80s version and not the tweaked 90s version. Look below, the letter font is 100% on point:
