How classless to admit you almost traded 1 of your 5 players yesterday for a 20s pick none the less. Morey needs to chill out and quit trying to get us pumped on failed trades. This is totally unbecoming.

 

It could be a deal that was executed after Irving is renounced and Horford opts out, meaning the Celtics could have flat out absorbed Clint with cap space.

That being said, perhaps it was Capela for Smart and 22. Or perhaps it would have been Baynes + one of their young players like Williams, Semi or Yabusele.

 

So this is only thing you have to contribute to the forum now?

Been reading this forum for a long time and you used to actually contribute to discussions and have a logical take.

Now all you do find anything to post a negative take, I could give you a pass because with the Tillman shtick at least there was some evidence but now you seem to just want to be a **** stirrer.

Agreed. I don't remember hearing other teams constantly telling their fandom about all of the deals they almost made. Not until a tell-all book a bunch of years later anyway.

Is getting constantly left at the altar unique to the Rockets? Unique in that they talk about it? Or is Mgmt lying a lot about all of the deals they're supposedly involved in?

Nothing good comes about bragging that your aggressively shopping players or even worse I almost traded a player for a pick. This isn't upfront, it's fukkery. He needs to stop seeking instant gratification

Im just happy we have a cool gm who actually dishes on tidbits like this. Other GMs dont. Morey is a fan's GM

At least the draft was fun with uncle Les Alexander who would let Morey buy a 2nd rounder with Cash Considerations.

Serious question..... does Sam presti have a guy in our war room???? Seem like this guy either gets the guys we’re after or blocks us from getting them... seriously think some guys in our room need to be let go.... every since Morey embarrassed him in the Harden trade, it’s been this way.....
