It helps when AD and Lebron went into neutral down the stretch so their teams could get a punchers chance in the lottery as opposed to having no chance as a 8th seed in the playoffs. Two teams that had to get lucky in the lottery to make the AD trade happen both got lucky and basically rewarded for semi tanking down the stretch.
Killed it by tanking, then trading his franchise player in his prime. Obviously the right move under the circumstances, but not for DM and the Rockets.
I'll give the zombie franchise credit, if they can pull off a few winning seasons until then. I'll reserve judgement.
I mean besides the Kevin Love trade what has he done? Lebron coming back was not his decsion and you can see how great the team was after Lebron left. Then he did a trade that was already going to happen if it wasn't for Demps. It's a good young core but we are trying to win championships not just trying to make the playoffs. Good start but nothing of what he has happened was really his doing. It all was already on the table the moment he walked in the door.
I'm pretty sure @Carl Herrera exclusively gets his rocks off baiting the contingency of posters led by cheke, htowngenius, jw85 or whatever, and the countless others who think that Harden is fat, Morey is a dumbass, and the Rockets need to basically fold the franchise. His posts are nothing but clickbait at this point. It's sad because he used to be one of my favorite posters on this board.
Wiggins and Bennett suck relative to draft position. Bennett sucks relative to players on the Vipers tbh. You'd think this guy would want LESS draft picks. He's creating the Ultron that will eventually end him.
Gotta give credit where credit is due. Griffin was absolutely masterful in the way he orchestrated that lottery drawing to get the Pels the #1 pick. Why doesn't Morey ever get us the #1 pick? Musical-producing chess-playing slacker!
After last night's draft, the Pelicans have turned AD into Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, Jaxson Hayes (8th Pick), Nickeil Alexander-Walker (17th pick), Marcos Louzada Silva (35th pick), 2021 LA pick, 2023 Swap, 2024 or 2025 pick, and a Solomon Hill salary dump. Unbelievable. Wonder what it’s like to have a good GM on your team...
You could get a flat tire driving down I-45 and Carl Herrera would figure out some way to make that about Morey or Tilman.
Same. His posts used to be hilarious and full of joy. Now I see one and I'm just like, "Who hurt you?". Has his heart never mended from the loss of P-Pat? What's the deal?
