University of Houston Rockets. Why's the side piping on the ones sold to the public so much bigger than the ones the players are wearing?? Makes it look like a $110 knock off from Walmart.

Would have definitely preferred some yellow trim on the mains, but these are a clear upgrade. Best jerseys we've had since 95. At this point fans are gonna b**** about anything and everything they do. They cant even work out some minimum guys without a wave of complaints.
They are really fresh and clean indeed. I love the trim by the armpits, stripe on the side, curved name and how it works with the blast off look on the shorts. The ones being sold as someone pointed out are god awful since they are just not the same!! Also how does nobody point out in this whole 2-year design process that the numbers need to be changed though is beyond me. Rockets also did an awful job on the website, I remember the Hornets had like a full on interactable jersey showing each significant part with explanation what it meant etc. Rockets just have text...
Ironically the uniforms I like the best are our black ones we've had for a few years now. Those are killer. The new ones are meh. The retros are always cool, but I'm really tired of the constantly changing aesthetic. It's a branding mess. I felt like these alternates never got the love they deserved. Would've loved to see these go full time with a white home version.
I like the new changes. Definitely an improvement to my eyes, though I did kind of like the red/red from last year.
Not horrible, the red and white defaults are just okay, an improvement over the old ones for sure but a little to plain for me to get excited about them. Obviously the classic is the best and should be stuck with longer term. Hope they wear it a lot this season. Also glad we're moving away from the Chinese for the city jersey.
Can we please get Wes Anderson City Edition jerseys? He has a clear color palette that everyone would recognize and he's a Houston Native. He also uses the best font (Futura). I don't understand why Houston doesn't ride for Wes Anderson more. Coolest jerseys in the league are probably Miami Vice and Prince Minnesota. They are both riding into popular culture. This is a gold mine. I have no idea how they know that they are still No 1 in China. Yao Ming the flagship is gone. Tracy was popular there but he gone as well. China got tons of Ex Kobe fans, GSW stans and others, they did not account for those. Harden is just meh there. The other day I saw some jokes as well there on behalf of Harden and CP3.
See, this Houston font just kills it! Fits with the R logo too. This would make the current makeover even better and a buy for me.
