Rockets are buying a 2nd pick in hopes of getting Kelvin Cato Jr . Prospect that came out of no where and looks promising. Inspired by his dad play and had a game down the street in his neighborhood with 12 block shots . That’s what I’m hearing ....

Tilman can save money by not hiring any coaches. Then use that money to pay for players that other teams wave. Players pre-game meal will be ham sandwiches, with tea, or water. Anything else and the players have to pay for it out of their checks. Hopefully none will bounce.

Daryl will say after the draft the Rockets were "very close" to trading into the lottery but it fell apart.

Look for the Rockets to have pulled the trigger, but for some things out of their control - that's the vibe I'm picking up from those in the know

Lmao the Rockets do this every year talking about trading for a lottery pick. We will trade for the 51st pick in the draft and draft A) undersized PF B) four year PG or C) Random euro.

I'm hearing that doing nothing is sometimes the best thing to do with things so wide open in the West.

Also the Rockets would like to add another Team USA guy in the offseason so they're lobbying hard for PJ Tucker to make the team.

This photo is confirming some of my tidbits about the plans to aggressively take a look at deals - if they feel it's a good fit to cost ratio.

Sounds like we’re on the 2 yard line.

Look 7 posts before yours. I actually said verbatim what you did. We both even chose to quote the same words. Kinda scary.

More and more evidence that the Klay/KD injuries changed (or didn't change) the direction that the franchise would have had going into this Summer.

The flurry of calls we heard the team was making to aggressively shake up the roster the week before the finals all then sudden came back to very much a status quo stance in a hurry. I am 100% certain if GS won the title and was poised to run it back with at least everyone sans KD, this team would be acting much much differently.

I think they see that if they do exactly what they did this year with some moderate improvements off the bench with vet min guys, they'll be the best team in the West.

I'm not sure I agree with that, but it seems clear that's their stance. Hold firm, and run it back.... again. This year there seems to be more reasons to do so than even last.
