I’m looking at all that talent and wishing one of those guys were coming to the Rockets. We had two great drafts back to back, Sampson and Olajuwon. So great, they changed the rules. I don’t want to go through the losing to get there, but it’s a great feeling to get a young guy like Ralph in ‘82 or Dream in ‘83.

The media loved us and GM’s around the league were green with envy. Sampson was eventually taken down by injury, but before that, he was destined for greatness. Olajuwon? We know how he turned out. Our team has had owners that are willing to deal for talent, but not lose in order to draft it, and that’s the way it is. We just have to hope for a great deal leading to a championship. Fingers crossed.

Billups (paraphrase): Zion is so humble. You could tell he came from a two parent home.

Another case of a black man that has separated himself from reality.. It woulda been an outcry if a white had said it...

Jaxson Hayes and Zion Williamson need a PG to throw them some lobs. A veteran, preferably; a leader. A guy who is familiar with New Orleans would be great, too, so he could help them get acclimated.

    Anyone have any ideas?

I expected them to draft Hayes, not sure what they'll do now, Reddish or trade the pick i guess, they draft Hunter and they have Huerter for the guard/wing spots...

I’d take Reddish. Best case they turn him into a vet center that can defend and run the pick and roll on a great contract. Worst case they keep him and have more depth

Jrue is in his prime, trying to win. No time to tutor kids.

    They need an older guy.

I'm not even sure the Hawks need a center that good tbh, maybe just a big body to play in specific matchups but they'll probably go small a lot, and they have 5 guys who can shoot:

    Collins
    Hunter
    Reddish
    Huerter
    Young
