[Trade] Conley to Utah for Crowder, Korver and Grayson Allen

It's a #23 pick and I'd assume a protected 2021 pick.
Not exactly barn-burner picks... though you can always find solid players late.

It's "relatively" cheap for Utah. Allen coold get increasingly better. Crowder and Korver both played real minutes for the Jazz. Crowder played 80 games at 27 minutes per game. But they already have a "better replacement" in Royce O'neal.

This doesn't make the Jazz an automatic WCF team or anything, but a very solid move for them.

Rockets related... IF they are really looking to move CP3, this is good for the Rockets. The slightly younger, slightly better (at this point), slightly cheaper version of CP3 has now been moved. If a team like Phoenix, Hornets, Magic, Lakers or the like would seriously consider taking CP3, they would have first looked to Conley.

 

So I guess this means they are going to trade Rubio?

 

memphis is in full youth and rebuild mode. they really don't have any use for crowder or even korver. It could be really possible crowder becomes available. lets hope so

I actually thought this was a decent deal by memphis considering that they basically got 3 first rounders out of a player that is past his prime, never an an all star and being paid 30 million a year.

To me... they boxed themselves in. They are MUCH better. But they're boxed in.

 

I kinda agree although i think Conley is very underrated but, yeah, seems like a good deal for both teams, Conley is exactly the player Utah needed and Memphis had to get rid of him at this point and they still got basically three 1st rounders if not more since Crowder if traded might net them another decent pick.

That’s a decent haul for a player not needed on a team doing a full rebuild. Conley will make Mitchell’s life easier and give them a leader and stabilizer whenever Mitchell has one of his patented 5/18 shooting nights.

 

Kinda agree, but they basically got three 1st rounders in terms of value since Allen and Crowder rpobably make up for one, it hink overall this is a classic trade where both teams win.

 

So Utah shopping Rubio now? can we get him off the bench instead of Rivers

 

they wanted conley for a while now too. they finally pounced on it. probably knowing memphis wants Ja Morant now so they felt more comfortable with this package this time around. compared to before
