Should have repped Sun Yu in that Times article, makes you think Lin is the first Asian to do it.

Actually reading an article about this now and Sun Yu wasn't the first Asian, it was Mengke Bateer with the 2003 Spurs that was the first.

Recognizing Jeremy Lin's contribution to a championship team is like recognizing Earl Cureton's contribution in 93-94.

    Mengke Bateer wasn't Asian-American either.

Lol Lin fans don’t know who that is or even what those years represent
They don’t know anything about basketball
They probably don’t know what a basketball is

    lol not even!

Unlike Airemy, Earl Cureton actually saw some floor time with the game still on the line.

I'm Asian American. My parents are both Chinese and my family moved to the United States when I was one year old.
To me, it doesn't really mean anything (or impress me) that Jeremy Lin won a championship by default.
I would be more proud when the first Asian American basketball player wins the NBA championship by earning it.
But then again, I am a person who takes great pride in my work.

The biggest moment in Jerry Lin's playoff career.

Account created right when Toronto won

    Obvious LOF

Must be insane to be so insecure about someone's idol or God that they would go on a Houston Rockets board to spam about it.

You know they worship him as a god.

    Same.
Of course it doesnt mean much, but he can still celebrate and his fans can still be happy for him. I don't see what's wrong?

Yup, I agree. As I've said previously, I think it's fun that Lin got a ring, but he didn't play a significant role in the playoffs so there's no real reason to get all giddy about it.
